Long-term cough is embarrassing and shows respiratory irritation.
It is shown that the level and duration of symptoms in patients who received antibiotics did not differ much from the level and duration of symptoms in patients who received placebo.
Thus it is shown that the use of antibiotics amoksicilin to patients with respiratory infections, when it was not questioning the inflammation of the lungs, not only helps but can also be harmful.
It is known that excessive use of antibiotics, especially when there are efficient, can lead to the development of bacterial resistance, and can appear side effects like diarrhea, skin rash and vomiting.
