Obese people live longer

The research, which was published in the journal of the American Medical Association says that people who have excess body weight actually live longer.

It is a comprehensive research about how weight affects longevity.
The research took into consideration more than 100 previous research, which included 2.88 million people and 270,000 cases of mortality in the world. However, according to the parameters of the World Health Organization considered normal weight when you body mass index between 18.5 and 24.9, while people are considered obese, body mass index of which is between 25 and 29.9, while people obes those body mass index of 30 and more.
The survey dealt with how long people lived, what health they had when they died and how they evaluate their quality of life. Obese people, it was shown that five percent had lower rates of premature death than those with normal weight.
